Curious about meditation? Already have a practice, but enjoy sitting in community? Come to the Sunday Sit at Under Aurora!
Meditation has been proven to decrease stress and anxiety as well as increase concentration, kindness, and peace of mind. Kirsten Carroll from Equanimity Unlimited will guide you through the basics of sitting. Each class will also include a new focus intended to help you deepen and expand your practice.
Please bring a cushion or blanket to comfortably sit on for extended periods of time. There are chairs available for those who cannot sit on the floor. There will be a mix of seated and movement meditation, so please dress comfortably.
